Jen Shah responds to Andy Cohen’s theory that she gave Heather Gay a black eye
‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ star Jen Shah has ‘no comment’ on Andy Cohen after he shared his theory on how Heather Gay got a black eye.
After Bravo’s 54-year-old producer said she believed it was Shah who gave her the so-called best friend, her rep said she was choosing to “focus on her family this time” over Cohen’s claims.
“I personally know that she hasn’t spoken to Andy Cohen since before the reunion when he called her directly to beg her to be on ‘RHOSLC’” [Season] 3 exit”, her representative Life & Style said Thursday.
Shah’s representative claimed that the “aggressions” of the “Watch What’s Going On Live” host are due “to the fact that we have communicated [one-on-one interview] six times”, which the Shah was reportedly going to do before the start of his sentence.
Earlier this week, Cohen expressed his belief that the 49-year-old Shah gave Gay an infamous black eye during the cast’s trip to San Diego in season 3 of “RHOSLC.”
“I think it’s from a cast member,” Lala Kent suggested during Wednesday’s episode “See what’s happening live” before Cohen added, “From Jen Shah? Me too. I don’t think she hit her head on a cupboard and scratched her arm.
While everyone speculated about how Gay got injured, she said she had no memory of how it happened.
“I passed out,” says the 40-year-old author of The Bad Mormon in Part 1 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. “I do not know how this happened”.
“I woke up terrified. I had my phone plugged in, I was in my pajamas,” she explained, adding that she was “scared” that her castmates would see it as an opportunity to “rewrite the narrative” if they found out she couldn’t remember what happened.
“When the production came to my room, I told them, ‘I have no idea, I have no memory,’ Gay continued. “And then it got out of hand and I take full responsibility and I’m really sorry. It’s terrifying.
Cohen said that Bravo conducted an investigation into Gay’s black eye, but “they found nothing and there was no additional footage.”
The black eye seems to be the last thing on Shah’s mind as she turned herself in to the police on Friday to begin her prison sentence. Last July, Bravolebrity pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit electronic fraud in connection with telemarketing.
