Kate Middleton wears $27 Zara earrings on the BAFTA 2023 red carpet
Prince William and Kate Middleton back at the BAFTAs.
The Prince and Princess of Wales returned to the red carpet of the awards ceremony on Sunday for the first time since 2020.
Middleton, 41, wowed in a white dress at the Royal Festival Hall in London as she charmingly gave her 40-year-old husband a “love tap” as seen in the video shared via Vogue’s Instagram account.
Dressed in a one-shoulder Alexander McQueen gown, the Queen looked dazzling for her date with her husband, who is president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
The Middleton dress she had been wearing earlier appeared tie waist and one shoulder cape. She paired the look with $27 Zara earrings and black opera gloves.
she added a small black clutch and gold pumps while letting her slick brunettes cascade down her back.
The pair missed last year’s annual TV and Movie Awards due to scheduling conflicts. A year earlier, Prince William – who was due to give a speech at a virtual event – withdrew due to the death of Prince Philip.
Middleton’s final BAFTA outfit in 2020 was a white and gold Alexander McQueen gown that she wore on a visit to Malaysia in 2012.
McQueen has been a constant presence for the princess on the show’s red carpet, and the mum-of-three has worn the designer’s wedding dress for four of her five BAFTA appearances since 2017.
Along with special royal guests, Sunday’s show – featuring stars such as Austin Butler, Viola Davis, Cate Blanchett and Jamie Lee Curtis – will also honor Queen Elizabeth II in a tribute hosted by Helen Mirren.
The actress won both a BAFTA and an Oscar for her portrayal of the late monarch in the 2006 film The Queen.
